MY DREAM COMES TRUE! Trip to Jeju island

A flight from Seoul to Jeju is only an hour and fifteen minutes, and the Gimpo-Jeju route is famously the busiest air corridor in the world. It is a quick,affordable and passport-free escape for Main lander. 

Jeju has a history and quite distinct from the mainlands. It isa famous for its Haenyeo (legendary feamale free divers recognized by UNISCO) and unique local folklore. Jeju is celebrated for specialties hard to find on the mainland,including its renowned Black pork(heuk-dwaeje)Its very yummy like lechon in the philippines and fresh seafood harvested by the haenyeo.

 Jeju Island has transform into island of Peace,World-class Tourism and UNISCO World heretage sites. With iconic Landmarks like Hallasan Mountain, Pristine Beaches, And the World famous Jeju Black Pork, its feels lke entirely different World from the Bustling urban life of the mainland.

2.Where to Stay,Where to go,

Since  our trip is group, we choose pension house. This is like private home everything inside is complete with pool. Good for whole family, groups and freinds.

 3.If you can drive, Rent A car,its very convienient going around if you have a car 

4.Eat famous Black Pork and Eel long fish for lunch or dinner 

The  Blackport in this restaurant is very tasty and 😋yummy. The service is good its a pity  I lost my picture in this restaurant.

The long fresh  Eel (갈치) from the Sea, And you need to eat before back to your home. Your travel will not complete with out trying this food.

5.after Eating Joy ride to Osolluc Tea Musium

Osolluc Musium tea. This famous Tea shop when I looking around there is not only local people here but lots of foreigners also enjoy shopping and drinking  tea, almost no space to sit in the table, even its rain we don't any choice but sit outside and try their delicious products of green tea from thereplantation.

6.Check the jeju weather etc. OUr trip in Jeu is very short but the unforgetable experience remains my memory. 

The weather is strong wind with rain. Its better to wear raincoats than used umbrella, umbrella can't support strong wind it will going to fly together with you😀

When we are in the plane, its my first time to experience turbulence, and the weather in Jeju suddenly change.

 During our tour Jeju, we visit some church, and proceed to Osulluc Tea Museum to try the tea and Go to Restaurant to eat Black pork for Dinner, Walk around the sea and sight seeing. 

After Jakalchi the wind is so strong together with rain but despite of that we enjoy walking in the rain.

Actually after landing in Jeju its time for Lunch to we dropby in this Kalgukuk Restaurant. I am not fan of kalguksu and not eating too much but I'm surprise the kalguksu here is like our kalguksu in the Phillipines called "Batchoy", the taste is almost same.  Everything in there Menu is amazing, Really delicious😋

Next time will visit again with the family, I don't have enough Sightseein~~

STEP BY STEP TO VISIT HOSPITAL BY APPOINTMENT;

Preparation;

1.Appointment (consultation)Letter from hospital(진료 설명서/안내문 or Message in kakao talk/

2.Identification card for adult/patient number 환자 번호 ,student school ID forpatient number 환자 번호 adolescence

3. Money

4. If you have concern about your kids health, prepare your Question  ready to ask the Doctor later.

For Samsung Hospital (This is my child Hospital)

Before Entering inside the hospital you need to punch your QR code. To get the QR code .If you dont have (There is kiosk machine beside)

2. You need to Register (접수) in Kiosk machine. 

For children & adolescent Department

A. Punch the bar code to Register and Get the Number

_Check Weight, Height & Blood pressure

.Waiting to call your Name or Check at the Monitor List in the waiting area.

C. Give the Registered Slip(접수중) to the nurse assigned. 

D. If your turn for consultation, Greet the Doctor and listen. If you have Questions about your child health you can ask freely. 

E. After check up,Tell your doctor, if you need the Medical certificate(진단서, 소견서) and appointment for absent in school(진료 확인서)

F. After Meeting the doctor, Listen to the nurse instructions(for next schedule,) received the next appointment letter for consultation.

G. Procced to pay the bill. 

You can pay directly to vending/Kiosk machine(무인수나기) card only and Get the receipt  (진료비영수증)&prescription(처방전)

H. Or you can pay at the counter (원무수납)

To get medical certificate or any document you needed (prepare family relationship certificate 가족관계증명서/등본& korean Id 신분증 forself/but for the child Student school id 학생증  for verify Identification.ĺ

And 진료비 영수증&처방전. You can pay cash or card

G. If you a have prescription (처방전) go to pharmacy(약국) to  buy the medicine (약)and go home.

HOW I VOTE IN SOUTH KOREA 2026

MY STEP BY STEP TO VOTE IN KOREA

1. Before going to vote know your place where to vote

2.know your access number  and show to the polling station officers

3.Don't forget to bring your Korean ID to confirm your Identification

4.Voting procedures to start voting, Start to 6 am and end 6 pm.

5.Process of  Voting, check on the Voters  list(confirmation of identification)

>Receiving  a Ballot paper >   Voting at a polling booth >  Mark the column of candidate He/she  votes for on the ballot where names of candidates are printed in advance for  > putting the ballot into a ballot box.

WHO  RIGHT TO VOTE AND ELIGIBILITY FOR ELECTION

Korean Citizens aged 18 years  old or more have the right to vote in Presidential elections and National Assembly.  Registered as a Resident the constituency under jurisdiction of the relevant local government as of the date used the standard for creating the voters list has the right to vote in Local elections.

according to Article 34 of the Immigration control Act. A non Korean Citizen Registered in the relevant local constituency and who has had a resident Visa for at least 3 years has the right to Vote.

The ninth local elections in South Korea were held on 3 June 2026 Including Metropolitan

Mayors, and Provincial governors, Municipal Mayors,Metropolitan and Provincial councillors, Municipal Councillors,Municipal councillors and Superintendents of Education.

This is not my first time to vote,

 My first  time to vote when I change my visa to F 6 and Korean ID. 

My unforgettable experience is I don't know who I am going to vote and how many candidate  in the ballot paper I need to Mark. 

 Nobody explain to me just go to the flow. When I inside the poll booth, I'm just looking for the Pen like fool and suddenly catch my eye the stamp pen. So, That's it, its done  to mark the first candidate and ready to put in the ballot box. Just walking like nothing happen. And go home. So, Next time when I'm going to vote again, I know what to. Compare to Philippines  I prefer to Korea it's easy to vote.

WEARING "HANBOK"

Wearing korean traditional hanbok to celebrate korean new year.

Hanbok  as more of a ceremonial dress reserved for traditional holiday celebrations and events shch as first birthday, weddings and funerals. The first I wear hanbok is during my wedding in korea, next is Chuseok during making songpyeon (송편 ricecake) with our songpagu mayor and Damunwha friends. and some activities snd celebrations.

CHARYE_Ancestral worship ceremony

Koreans believe that their ancestor visit them on seollal so we prepare

special food to pay tribute yo our ancestors and call this practice 'charye'.

Every New year, Jesa, chuseok I prepare this table for 14 years.  

I like to prepare alone so that I can manage my time to buy the engredients

Like Vegetables, fruits and meat. and also how much budget I needed. Usually 

every charye ( food in the table)  I spend almost 1Million Krw.  The price of meat like kalbi is expensive plus pork , fish and chicken. 1 box per  of fruits like apples, pears

grapes, strawberry, banana, watermelon, peach, jujubes,  etc. 

During New year and chuseok vegetables are also expensive like spinach triple price than normal price so my technique is to buy earlier , steam and put in freezer.

BUTCHIMGAE _preparing and cooking for 2hours, Doing by this for 14years.

My Jon or butchimgae are made of sweet potato, potato, squash(애호박),korean  cabbage,

meatballs, tofu,carrots, samgyup and dongtea fish. Sometimes I add greenpepper (천양고초) because old people like spicy butchimgae. The flour I used is ottogi buchim karo. and kong (beans) oil.

Rice cake Soup(tteokguk) is a korean traditional dish eaten during the celebration of the korean new year.

  When I wake up early in the morning , I made this soup.

In Korean they eat Rice cake soup for new year but in the philippines we eat pansit bihon

May kasabihan kasi sa pilipinas na ang pagkain ng bihon ay pampahaba ng buhay. 

    Sa korean naman pagkumain ng Rice cake soup ay isang traditionally believed na nagga grant ng goodluck for the year and dagdag ng edad ng isang taon.

    For example yung anak ko ngayoon ay 13years old sa pilipinas sa korea +1, Meaning sa korea 14 years old na sya.

The gift giving extentends beyond homes to workplaces when companies usually offer each of thier employees a gift as well. So the best way to celebrate would be by giving gifts. In the philippines we exchange and give give gift duting christmass holidays.

 and the most awaiting of the kids recieving sebetdon from parents , uncles &aunts, grandmother & grandfather.

 SEBAE THE KOREAN NEW YEAR BOW~

after eating the food, the young members of every family perform a ritual called "sebae" new years bow which  is the act of bowing deeply. 

The younger kids bow yo their elders and, in return, recieve pocket money ftom them. This practices increase their love and respect for each other.

     KOREAN NEW YEAR ITS BRING UNITY,  our family members and relatives get 

togethere to practice our different traditions and rituals .

This is the time for reflection,hope, and high spirits. 

This is the time to pay respect to the family members and ancestors.
